Using Node-RED's node-red-contrib-solar-power-forecast-plus contribution to plot (light blue line) the estimated max PV generation in ideal conditions for my location/panel orientation/time of year; seems pretty accurate so far. Useful to know what theoretical maximum I have.

Fiddling with @solcastAPI; API supposedly provides estimated PV produce based on weather forecasting for a location. Will compare against reality and potentially use to optimize home energy usage planning

A smart IoT controller for my solar hot water tank – mode switching (manual/auto/anti-freeze) driven by an emonCMS feed.
Feeding weather data to emonCMS with software only – no hardware, an online weather source covers humidity, pressure and wind.
