No sun, no left battery charge for emergency power? No problem! Generator AC -> 400V DC -> String 1 plus some diodes to prevent power to PV and problem solved

Why not use the generator, you may ask? Because it only pumps 1.6kW, using the PV system and battery provides a buffer for peak loads. Also, you could use your car’s V2L

Added external power control, as the internal trimmer control is inconvenient. This setup has been useful during many power outages.
